The Rascal Fair, Vol. 5
Welcome to TRF Vol. 5. There’s a lot of good thinking here in Montana.
The previous hosts of TRF are hard acts to follow. And since my browser has been crashing every few minutes I ask for forgiveness in advance (It’s important I ask. It’s less important you forgive) for my short summaries. Hell, you’re better off reading what our contributors say rather than my twaddle anyhow. Enjoy.
David at A Different Lemming has some worries about what Mr. Softee has planned for your software. He’s got alternatives.
Craig at MtPolitics crosses over into that space where few men now dare to go – interpreting what women really mean when they speak. I’ll admit that I was initially worried for Craig’s safety. His wife is pregnant I think and I, being the father of six, have never met a rational hormone taken to full term.
Sarpy Sam over at Thoughts from the Middle of Nowhere takes on a Billings Gazette reader who thinks we need laws about bullying. This one’s easy for me – I agree with Sam.
Randy delivers some solid spiritual thinking at A Secular Franciscan Life. Inside there are words to live by.
At the intersection of Hollywood and Montana Annie asks if blogging is really writing. Let me settle this this for you. It is. And keep it up.
SB of Watermark was interviewed by chandrasutra. Just follow the links. And while your at it make sure you cruise SB’s whole site. Wonderful artistry in words and pictures.
The Magic City Beat has the scoop on what’s going on with Billings police chief’s administrative leave. It may cause more questions than provide answers.
Pandora at An Offering of Myself to the World writes a poignant eulogy to Mario VanPeebles LeMew. In loving memory.
John lets us in on Victoria’s (little) Secret at Grind the Gears. Eye candy with a cause.
Seems as though Anthony at Gates of the Mountains has issues with turning the Statehouse into a fortress. He has a point.
The ever-so-prolific Matt Singer bats clean-up at Left In The West with an esoteric question of marginal value – no, the post isn’t marginal – but the topic is about marginal (economically speaking) things. Ah, just go read it.
As for me? Well, you can just scroll down this page. I get the blatherskite award for the week – I talked a lot, but said very little.
Don’t forget to get your posts into TRF early this week. It’ll be a BIG help to the next host – Gates of the Montains. Those of you who haven’t submitted (and you know who you are) need to join the party. Hey, we are Montana – let’s let the world know what we think.
