If I could choose only one writer to take to dinner as the price of learning I’d take Rick Brookhiser (slot two is a toss-up between WFB and George Will.) Anyhow, for those of you following the insanity known as Tom Cruise and his afterbirth eating wishes, Brookhiser finds the silver lining:
